Description: Learning to play the piano can be really tough. There are so many keys to press and not enough fingers! But don’t worry, you can still be a Beethoven in the making with this simple DIY. The finger piano or kalimba is very easy to learn and is great for practising hand-eye coordination. You can play this instrument with your thumb or a couple of fingers without the hassle of all those different keys and chords you’d find on a piano. Here is how you can make yours at home. ⭕Materials: - Wooden board - Chopsticks - 2 rubber bands - Hairpins ⭕Instructions: (1) Firstly, you will need to take your wooden board and place each chopstick on either side. (2) Attach the chopsticks together, with the board in between, using the elastic bands. (3) Next, get your hairpins and slide them, one at a time, between one chopstick. (4) Place each hairpin at a different level for a different sound (5) Once all of the pins are in place, test out your new kalimba! Pluck each pin and listen to all the different chords. #TheDadLab #simplecrafts ===================================================== ➜ TheDadLab on Facebook: facebook.com/thedadlab ➜ TheDadLab on Instagram: instagram.com/thedadlab ➜ TheDadLab on Twitter: twitter.com/thedadlab ➜ TheDadLab on Pinterest: pinterest.com/thedadlab ➜ Website: thedadlab.com ===================================================== Please subscribe to see more upcoming videos bit.ly/ThedadlabOnYoutube
